Steps
STEP 1
Sand the dresser all over to remove old paint.

Remove old handles off of each drawer face.

Remove any existing feet off of the bottom of the dresser.

STEP 4
Add wood filler to any chips in the dresser. Allow time to dry, then sand to level the surface.

Apply a primer coat of spray paint to the dresser.
STEP 6
Apply a coat of spray paint in desired color, allow time to dry.
STEP 7
Cut dowels to size according to the dimensions of the drawer face.

Nail the dowels to the drawer face in a vertical direction.

STEP 9
Cover up nail holes with wood putty. Allow time to dry, then sand to smooth. Apply stain, then allow time to dry.
STEP 10
Attach new feet to the bottom of the dresser.

Place drawer lining paper in each drawer, then trim.
STEP 12
Drill holes where drawer knobs will go, then screw in drawer knobs.
